![]() I forced myself through PAP Lower, but the next day I was toast. I nearly made a post saying there were only 2 weeks left.Īnd then I got really sick. I pushed through injury and business trips. ~3 months ago I made the decision that no matter what I was going to finish X2. There's always something that gets in the way. I've started X2 and X3 countless times, and have never been able to complete the program. I remember doing P90X in 2008 and thinking Core Synergistics was the 2nd easiest next to Kenpo X. The Dreya roll is the only move I could not accomplish safely. X Stretch: First week was rough, but the rest was EZPZ… Except Shoulder stand to plough… >_<’Ĭore Synergistics: This was another one that shocked me. I WILL GET BETTER! So, I’m glad to say that by the end of Phase 1, I was able to accomplish ALL the moves… PHEW! That was a close one. I had to reassure myself that this is the reason I’m back on the grind. So, imagine my surprise when I couldn’t keep up… With KENPO X?!?!?! The disappointment in my self was immeasurable. I mean of all the workouts Kenpo X gets the most grief for how easy it is. I used to do a little boxing/MMA work back in the day. Kenpo X: Ladies and Gentlemen… This was probably the most shocking workout in the entire collection so far. Legs and Back: Not much to say here except this USED to be my least favorite. I made huge improvements on all other moves though. Shoulder stand to plow is out the window. My balance is way off and some moves I cannot do just because my gut is so big. Yoga X: Surprisingly I did not do as bad as I thought I would. My Cardio is the weakness when it comes to lifting at this pace. Shoulder and Arms: Again, very out of breath. I’m keeping in mind that I’m the biggest I’ve ever been, so modify, modify, modify! After the first week, the rest of the time it was “easier”? (Still hard) It has always been the hardest one for me and this still stands true. That being said, the weeks going forward showed immediate improvement. The strength was there but the endurance was not. Chest and Back is in my swim lane, so it was a wake-up call when I was completely out of breath after the first few moves. I’m going to do a brief recap of how I did these past weeks.Ĭhest and Back: The first week was brutal due to the high rep range and very little break between moves. ![]()
